Looking Fur Love

Looking Fur Love Dog Rescue was formed to prevent dogs from entering an animal shelter. Their mission is to assist hospice patients and their families in their efforts to place their dog(s) in a loving home. Their hope is to give those patients who are nearing the end of their physical life and their families peace of mind and comfort knowing their pet is taken care of.

One Man Shootlogo-1

The One Man Shoot was created by Connie Mack Boykin, and is inspired by his memory. After learning of his own diagnoses of prostate cancer, he soon discovered it was already at Stage 4 and spread to other organs. With this, he quickly learned the importance of early diagnosis and the administration of treatment for advances cases. Soon after, in 2011, the One Man Shoot event was born. The annual event offers free PSA testing to men over 40, and a clay shooting tournament that has raised over $1,000,000 for the Tulane Cancer Center for prostate cancer research.
