Daily tape backups may not be enough to protect your company's critical data. Tapes can become damaged or unusable without notice. This is usually discovered when attempting to restore data that has either been deleted due to user error or hardware failure. Tapes should be removed from your office daily in case of fire or destruction of your office. This is often forgotten until disaster strikes and your tape media is destroyed by water, fire, or even lost or stolen.

One solution to this problem is the GSTS DataVault. DataVault is our off-site online backup service. Through our DataVault service, you can safely and securely backup and restore your data via the Internet. Your data is stored at our office on redundant hardware and also at an additional offsite facility for an extra layer of security and protection.
