Alternative Workspace
In a Secure Environment First, preplan a work environment with internet connectivity
and phones, which is far enough away from the area affected, but close enough that
it does not require air travel, can be extremely important. For the Gulf Coast area,
we have facilities that can be pre-assigned to accommodate clients from Tallahassee
to Houston. Our Disaster Recovery Center is adjacent to our 24x7 Data Center in our
Baton Rouge facility.
Providing 24x7 Data Center Infrastructure

Some level of equipment redundancy will be required. GSTS has the ability to design
and deploy any type of equipment necessary to keep your business running, from our
secure data center, with redundant power and HVAC. GSTS sells and services equipment
and backup for Hot, Warm, or Cold site storage based on your operating requirements
and budget.

Cold Site Storage
The cold site storage option provides guaranteed space in our secure data center,
with broadband connectivity, Pre-configured system(s) can be quickly procured utilizing
our "Pak-N-Ship" arrangement to get you up in and running.
The cold site option works best for smaller companies, which do not have redundant
equipment. This option allows you to move your equipment to our facilities in the
event of a disaster. Data can be backed up daily to our DataVault storage facilities.
GSTS strongly recommends additional equipment be leased or purchased to guarantee
a fully redundant backup plan.
Warm Site Storage
Our warm site storage option provides hardware, software and related services located
at the GSTS Data Center Facilities. System(s) can be ready in less than 24-hours,
depending on data restore status updates.. Hot Site Storage Our hot site storage option
provides a mirror system housed in the GSTS Data Center Facilities. System(s) are
immediately ready for use if a disaster strikes.
Virtual System Solution
GSTS virtual infrastructure can deliver the computing, storage networking hardware,
and software from our secure facilities to your desktop. Virtual infrastructure simplifies
IT, so companies leverage their storage, network, and computing resources to manage
costs and respond faster. In a virtual infrastructure, users utilize only the resources
that are needed.
With virtual infrastructure, GSTS can provision new services and change the amount
of resources dedicated to a software service. Hardware management is completely separated
from software management, and hardware equipment can be treated as a single pool of
processing, storage and networking power to be utilized on the fly to various application
services.
